The Last Ice Age?
Shifting winds, changing climate patterns, what does this mean the “last” ice age? Last can mean “final” or “most recent”. Where were we to stop all of this?

In one of the most stark illustrations of how a changing climate can have regional effects, scientists have learned that winds over North America have done a complete 180 since the time of the last Ice Age several thousand years ago.
Of course you can deny previous climate changes but that seems like denying evolution. My own take is that we don’t understand either one of them very well, but I don’t want to quench the fires of zealots :) We look, we think, what else can we do? Think some more is my opinion.
Our home is a very dynamic planet. Being so, it destroys evidence of previous inhabitants. The geologic and atmospheric forces are tough on structures, not to mention the plants and microbes that wear on them. This makes the study of our past very difficult. If you think it is hard now wait until you factor in the destructuion of exisiting knowlege (burning libraries, such as the Maya) and the revisionist history the victors create.
Let us not lose sight of the fact we see a small piece of a very large puzzle. Check here for some of the latest.
