This was a really good, thorough article. I'm surprised few, if any, businesses have moved in on this market. Americans back to work - both in R&D and manufacturing (good heavens, haven't the politicians got it yet - IT'S ALL ABOUT JOBS!). Imagine the day when we can all go to a Big-Box do-it-yourself center or (dare I say,....) WalMart and purchase solar panels, geo-thermal, fuel cells, etc. we can take home and install ourselves - AND - it's INEXPENSIVE TO DO! Everyone wins - which is why, in my cynical mind-set, this may unfortunately never happen. These systems should be mass produced to cut costs. Who knows in the future even cars with solar panels on top could be developed, so that it can charge batteries while parked (or even running), with additonal built-in resources for energy production, and we could do without polluting fossil fuels? Wow, don't tell the oil industry barons that I gave that idea. They could come after me and. . . Think about it. . .
