There is a threat of direct attacks on people from certain groups who ally themselves with Islam, and are disowned by the Muslim Council of Great Britain. There have been no related deadly incidents since the 56 deaths in July 2005. In that time 260,000 people died from the effects of smoking; 7,000 people died from road traffic incidents; and 70,000 people died from the direct effects of alcohol. So who is the enemy? I'm prepared to take the minuscule chance of an attack occuring if it means my rights are preserved. But feel free to donate your DNA if it makes you feel better.
