Why Is The Price Of Oil So High?
Because we use too much, and there isn’t enough of it.

Secondly there’s also the problem of the falling dollar for the oil price (of the dollar loses value oil prices are corrected for this, as oil is traded in dollars). Here in europe the prices for gasoline are higher than thy have ever been, but for us a rise in the oil price doesn’t mean that we will actually pay more for oil.
During last week when oil prices have reached new records in europe the price for gasoline has actualy gone down. This was caused due to a new record for the euro (1,54+ dollar per euro).

As you can see in the above chart the dollar isn’t doing that well on the financial markets, another thing you can thank bush for.
