Making Rope Out Of Plastic Bags
We have done a lot with what to do with those old plastic bags, here is yet another sweet idea.
Seriously you get a lot of rope out of one bag, I might try this and see just how strong it is.

Pretty cool! Was researching a project for my daughter when I come across this. I think we will use this in addition to our plastic project. Thanks for the help. I will let you know how it goes.
Most of the the bags i’ve dealt with have better strength when cut lengthwise instead of crosscutting. It’s just the way the plastic is made i guess. But otherwise you have a cool setup there. I made an 80ft rope out of bags by hand (no machinery) before i even thought of looking on the internet to see if anybody had a better way.
