Seriously this guy lays it out pretty honestly. He is also the only person I have seen state publicly that the earth will be fine without us, and the real reason we need to “save the planet” is to “save the humans.” Worth the 8 minutes to watch.

Allan Savory has been saying for 30 years, quite publicly, that the purpose of sustainability efforts is to sustain civilization, not wilderness or wildlife. Ditto James Lovelock, and several others.

Answer: it’s good PR and great greenwashing.
