Loads of commercial advertising on the Repower America site: what have Nike, Gap, Levis, American Steelworkers Association, Avon, Pepsico, Whole Foods, Exelon (FFS!), Starbucks got to do with saving humanity?

Answer: it’s good PR and great greenwashing.

Allan Savory has been saying for 30 years, quite publicly, that the purpose of sustainability efforts is to sustain civilization, not wilderness or wildlife. Ditto James Lovelock, and several others.
