I would add to this that you have the right to live on a planet that is sustainable for human life, and that society and individuals should be banned from doing things that will make the earth uninhabitable. Sort of like a promise to future generations, a “we would fuck this up for you” pledge. After all the only reason we are here is because the people before us didn’t ruin the planet, we are the beneficiaries of their stewardship (or lack of ambition when it comes to destruction, take your pick).
